For 55 years the company Wörmann has been passionately dedicated to the subject of trailers. Founded in 1964 by Josef Wörmann sen., the family business was initially specialized in the sale of agricultural machinery. Due to the high demand, the first car trailers as well as agricultural two-way and three-way tippers were already included in the product range in the 1970s.
Today, Wörmann is one of the leading manufacturers of trailers in Europe. The huge product portfolio is produced and assembled in seven specialised production facilities. The product range includes trailers for industry, trade and crafts, agriculture, sports and leisure – car trailers, sales trailers, promotional trailers, toilet trailers, crew wagons, refrigerated trailers, boat and horse trailers and truck trailers for the construction and transport industry.
In 2001, the registration as a registered trademark was conducted.
In addition to the pan-European distribution network through dealers, direct sales to end customers at Wörmann also play a major role.
An important milestone in 2009 was the opening of the 50,000 m² trailer centre in Hebertshausen in the district of Dachau.
In 2017, the 20,000 m² distribution centre was opened in Wallersdorf, Lower Bavaria, in the district of Dingolfing-Landau, directly on the A92.
Under the two managing directors today, Josef Wörmann junior and Christian Wörmann, the company has become one of the largest trailer centres in Europe. In 2019, the company Wörmann celebrates its 55th anniversary.
